Microsoft Moves To Trademark “Power Your Dreams” Slogan For Next Xbox

Microsoft seems to want to bring the power this time around.

Xbox Series X

When the current generation of consoles launched, it became apparent quickly that Sony’s PS4 had a slight edge when it came to power compared to Microsoft’s Xbox One. Even now, the base consoles tend to have a gap, as games are pushing the systems to their limits. While that did flip during the mid-gen refresh (the Xbox One X has a lot more juice than the PS4 Pro), it seems Microsoft are keen to position themselves as the kings of power this time.

The slogan “Power Your Dreams” was present when the Xbox Series X was revealed in a big surprise at last year’s Game Awards. Microsoft has now moved to trademark that slogan, meaning you’ll probably be hearing it pretty often once the full marketing starts to kick in.

Of course, whether or not the Series X will be more powerful than Sony’s system is anyone’s guess at this point. While people are speculating Microsoft will have the edge this go around, Sony’s PS5 largely still remains a mystery, and much like this generation, we probably won’t know for sure until these systems actually hit shelves.
