If there’s one word to use to describe what CD Projekt RED is attempting to do with their upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 it would probably be “immersive.” It’s a word that gets thrown around a lot, but one that rarely fits. The developer is doing their best, however, in trying to craft a functioning near future world. One way they are doing that is the music, with various artists contributing to the game’s soundtrack with some tunes from the future.

We heard earlier that Refused was working on tracks for the “Chrome Rock Band” SAMURAI that will be in the game, one that’s headed by Johnny Silverhand, the character Keanu Reeves will portray. One track has been released today called “Never Fade Away,” one that’s got a nice jam to it. Check it out below.

Cyberpunk 2077 will release April 16th 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. We saw a lot from this year’s Gamescom behind closed doors, and at the end of the month we’ll get to see a public streaming of some of that content, so stay tuned.
